Designers from the studio Lauri Brothers designed an apartment of 43 m² in the style of minimalism with a masculine character. The studio is intended for periodic visits by a man who permanently lives with his family outside the city. In it, he can stay overnight after a long day at work or meet with friends.

The first step was to turn the one-room apartment into a studio. To do this, dismantled the wall in the hallway, and also combined the kitchen with the room. This decision seemed to be the most comfortable, taking into account the residence of only one person. At the same time, some of the walls had to be completed in order to form niches in the kitchen and in the hallway.
A massive sofa, consisting of two modules with contrasting upholstery, acted as a zoning element. On the side of the bedroom, he is also assisted by magnetic lights on a built-in bus.
The TV area was decorated with walnut veneer panels. The "floating" curbstone does not overload the interior and makes cleaning easier.
Kitchen
The border between the kitchen and the living room can be traced along the ceiling. In the kitchen, it was made to look like concrete; the texture was recreated using decorative plaster. The exposed wiring reinforced the presence of the loft style in the interior.
The main body of the headset was built along two walls. Wall cabinets shallower than standard depth help to hide a ledge in the wall, which has been decorated with walnut veneer and complemented by illuminated glass shelves.
Bedroom
The sleeping place was placed on a podium in a niche. The wall facing the living room was darkened to contrast with the light environment - adjacent surfaces and the ceiling. A storage system was installed at the foot. White cabinet fronts were completed with black handles, continuing the theme of contrasts.
The podium itself is lined with veneer. Thanks to its unusual design and lighting, it creates a floating effect.
Hallway
Tiles were used as flooring in the hallway. A spacious wardrobe with facades in the color of the walls was built into the niche at the entrance. The space looks "clean" and not overloaded.
Bathroom
The bathroom turned out to be more brutal: the concrete texture prevails, and there is also the same walnut veneer in the furniture facades. Even the sink and shower tray were made concrete.
Here, for the first time, a bright accent of color appears - blue stripes on a concrete ledge in the spirit of street art. They were supported by a matching heated towel rail.
