Rodents and harmful insects are often found in expanded polystyrene and mineral wool. Although the price tag for these materials is high, they have an unpleasant odor, and when they burn, they release toxic substances into the air. If the floor in a private house is flooded, then the mineral wool will absorb a lot of liquid.

Clay insulation allows air to pass through, and therefore there will always be optimal humidity inside the house. Another advantage of this material is its environmental friendliness. Clay does not emit harmful vapors, poisons and toxins into the air.
Installing clay insulation on the floor is quick and easy. You just need to mix the material with sawdust, put it on the floor, tamp it well and it's done!
