Whenever you need to change your cut-off wheel again, be sure to follow the instructions. There is also a thin metal ring on the side of the disc, where there is an image and inscriptions. These are the circles that come out of the factory conveyor.
You will not find such a metal circle on the back of the disc.
Which side to put the disc on the angle grinder
- 1. First you need to look at the tool washer. There are small "pimples" on its surface.
If the circle is set correctly, i.e. down with pictures and inscriptions, then the metal ring will lie directly on the washer. Squeeze the disc and press the washer firmly against the ring. Due to this, a reliable grip will be obtained, the circle will not turn when biting.

However, in the process of making a circle, small irregularities can form on its surface. The clamping flange has a threaded backlash. It is he who smoothes the tubercles of the circle, fixing it tightly.
