How to wash a bottle from the inside if your hand doesn’t reach there

It happens that a container with a narrow neck, for example, a hefty wine bottle or a plastic water bottle, needs to be washed from the inside from some stubborn dirt. However, a hand with a sponge or a stiff brush cannot be pushed into such a container. A natural question arises: what to do? In fact, there is nothing difficult in cleaning such dishes. True, you will need to have some useful things in the house.

The first and foremost thing we need to clean any narrow-necked vessel is a magnet (or magnets)! The stronger the chosen magnet, the better. Very good if you can get a couple of neodymium. Next, we need a thin towel or rag, as well as a choice: a soft metal brush-sponge or an ordinary porous sponge. The choice of the last two is made depending on the strength and type of pollution.

So, if you use a metal sponge brush, you probably won't need a second magnet. We just push it into the neck, pour some water into the vessel, wrap the magnet in a rag (so as not to scratch our bottle) and then "catch" the sponge with it through the glass / plastic wall. Immediately after that, we begin to drive the magnet along the surface of the vessel, pulling the sponge behind us and gradually cleaning the inner walls from contamination. Water and detergents are poured inside at will.

If you need to use a regular sponge, the cleaning technology is generally similar. However, you first have to make a simple tool. To do this, cut the sponge so that it has a small pocket. We insert a neodymium magnet into this pocket, and then glue the cut with glue. We wait until it dries up and immediately throw a sponge with a magnet inside the bottle. Then we repeat the above procedure. Three to the bitter end.
