A popular way to germinate seeds on paper

I always use the same proven option for growing seeds on paper:

  1. Prepare a polyethylene film cut into strips of the same thickness as the paper roll.
  2. I lay the paper on the film in several layers and moisten it with plenty of water.
  3. I lay out the seeds on paper in rows, retreating 1 cm from each edge. The distance between the seeds I make 5 cm.
  4. I cover the seeds laid out on top with another layer of paper and polyethylene.
  5. I roll the resulting design into a roll and put it with the seeds up in a container. In this container (a glass, a plastic cut-off bottle) I pour warm and settled water.
  6. I cover the top of the seed roll with a plastic bag to create a greenhouse effect. The main thing is not to forget to periodically ventilate the seeds by removing them for a short time or opening the bag.
  7. During seed germination, it is important to monitor the water in the container. Otherwise, the seedlings will dry out.
  8. With the advent of the first sprouts and leaves, the seeds are put into the light.
