  • the tomato stem does not require pinching, as a small number of side shoots grow;
  • as such, a garter is not necessary for this variety, however, during the ripening period, some branches may need support due to the severity of the fruit;

The hybrid is not prone to cracking the skin, however, excessive moisture can damage the surface of the fruit.

Due to the small growth and compact shape of the bush per 1 sq. m beds can accommodate up to 6 seedlings, which do not interfere with each other.

The variety is resistant to most standard pathogens, in particular to late blight, tobacco mosaic and fusarium.

Advantages and disadvantages

The following qualities of a hybrid can be attributed to significant advantages:

  • high fertility;
  • fast maturation;
  • good adaptation to climatic and geographical conditions;
  • no need for pinching and pinching;
  • strong immunity, resistant to most diseases;
  • good transportability;
  • long-term storage;
  • landing versatility.

Of the minuses I can highlight:

  • the impossibility of independent harvesting of seed;
  • some capriciousness and exactingness;
  • relatively high cost.

Features of agricultural technology varieties

Reproduction of the variety is carried out only by seedling method.

Tomato is sensitive to coolness, open cultivation is possible only in warm southern regions. For mid-latitudes, only greenhouse planting is recommended.

Of the good predecessors, I will note legumes and winter cereals.

The landing period is divided - the stages fall on the first half of February (for placement in greenhouses) and the second half of March (for open ground).

The soil of the Japanese variety requires loose, airy, saturated with nutrients. The acidity level should be close to neutral. A good substrate recipe: a mixture in equal proportions of humus, sand, leafy soil and peat.

You can choose a container for seedlings that is convenient for you, but I recommend using biodegradable individual pots.

The method of growing shoots does not differ from the standard "tomato" scheme.

Transplantation of seedlings is carried out on the 50th day after sowing. On average, Pink Bush moves to greenhouse walls at the end of April, while open beds wait until mid-May.

Despite some capriciousness, the methods of agricultural technology of the Japanese variety are standard: abundant watering, fertilizing and loosening.
