Popular at the very beginning of the journey of Chinese tablets, but having lost its position, Onda decided to steal some glory from Xiaomi by releasing a “competitor” Xiaomi Mi Air 13 under the “original” name Onda Xiaoma 41.
A fresh 14.1-inch ultrabook with a FullHD display based on an IPS panel promises to be a little more interesting than its analogues. The company placed the main emphasis on compactness, so the side frames of the display are only 0.6 cm. This made it possible to achieve incredible dimensions for a diagonal 296 x 203 x 12 mm and 1.08 kg of the total weight of the device.
Since the Xiaomi 41 processor is Intel Celeron N3450 generation Apollo Lake and 4 GB RAM, the new product runs on everyone’s favorite Windows 10 Home for one language (key in complete).
The second feature, previously not seen in any Chinese device, was the fingerprint scanner built directly into the touchpad. A unique feature allows you not only to unlock the computer already in the system, but also to use advanced features using the Windows Hello system assistant.
The storage capacity available to the user is only 64 GB, of which a significant portion is consumed by the operating system. For those who find this not enough or want to install a 4G modem, the manufacturer has provided 2 M.2 slots.
The Ultrabook's versatility is enhanced by peripheral ports. Onda Xiaoma 41 is equipped with the necessary USB Type-C on a USB 3.0 chip, a pair of modern USB 3.0 with support for fast charging of devices, a microHDMI video output, a 3.5 mm audio output and a microSD slot. There was also a place for stereo sound, despite the compact size.
The built-in battery of Xiaomi 41 is enough for 8 hours of uninterrupted operation - a very decent result.
Onda Xiaomi 41 will cost $365
