Expensive charger Fonken 28W with two ports and QC3.0

I spent a certain amount of time searching for an inexpensive, small, easy to charge your smartphone and other gadgets. It seems to have found a good option - Fonken Dual USB 28W QC3.0.


At first I was looking at charging Orico and Choetech, but then I came across a couple of reviews of chargers Fonken from which it was evident that good charging. In Fonken official shop on Aliexpress revealed dual-port charger, reviews which were not, but I decided to take a chance and did not regret.

Charging came in the company's bag.


On the side for the options:
The first output: QC3.0 3.6-6V 3A, 6-9v 2A, 9-12V 1.5A (18 W);
The second output: 5V 2A (10 W).


The connectors are color coded.


And equipped with a backlight.


Charging weighs 56 grams and has dimensions 87x45x25 mm (fork).


The manufacturer promises protection against all (I liked the Taj Overvol-protection :).


I tested the charging device using EBD-USB +.

Green port (5V 2A). The voltage is kept steadily in the range 5.02-5.14V under load to 2.3A. Further protection is triggered. Excellent result.

Port Orange (QC3.0 5V 3A). 5.07-5.15V voltage under load up to 3.8A (!). Further voltage drops sharply. An excellent result.


Port Orange (QC3.0 12V 1.5A). 12.3-12.33V voltage under load up to 1.9A, further protection is triggered. Again, everything is fine and reserve.


In addition, I loaded charge of its claimed maximum (5V 2A to green port and 12V 1.5A to orange). Everything works, voltage sags. For five minutes the body has warmed up to 30 degrees. Then I became a torture charge, because the actual operation of the probability of such a large load at the same time is almost eliminated in the two ports.

The manufacturer promises compatibility with fast charging HUAWEI FCP. I checked the charging operation with smartphones Huawei P10 Plus and Honor 20 Pro. In both cases, the charge was in 9V 1.5A mode.

These charge are white and black. White, like me, It costs $ 4.34 with free shipping, black for $ 0.05 more.

Of course, to say exactly how much it is a good exercise, it would have to be disassembled, to see if well insulated high-voltage part of the low-voltage, check what security features are installed, measure the temperature of the power components under load, but I'm not charging a break: works well. Offer, perhaps even one such as to each time carry no charge to the cottage and back.
