How to break the instantaneous water heaters Atmor

  • Dec 24, 2019

Bulk (pressure, built-in) instantaneous water heater - the best solution for heating the tap water at the time of its summer shutdown. But all three heater Atmor InLine, which I bought for the different apartments were broken and damage the cause of all the same.

Yesterday I turned off the hot water. I connected a water heater, and found that it does not work - just not included.

The heater must be switched on as soon as it begins to flow through the water on and off, when it ceases to flow. For this purpose, the inlet tube is placed inside the float with a magnet, and outside the designated reed switch. The water lifts the float, the reed switch is closed, the heater is turned on. When no water flows, the float sinks and the heater turned off.

Alas, exactly 7 years in magnet floats degraded and the heater stops working.

In order to extract the float must first pull out the pliers plug-in filter and pull the grille. This can be done by thin pliers (requires great effort) or pomoshchbju cable ties, thrusting her and hooked behind bars. In the photo a float tube grille and filter.

The easiest way to replace the float. It can be purchased at a service center (seven years ago, it cost 210 rubles, now I do not know), in addition to Avito someone sells another kind of floats for 800 rubles.

But before the service to travel far, 800 rubles a pity, so you can try to repair the float. For a start it must reveal. Float closed metal cover and pull it solve. I'm in the process of opening the float is quite damaged.

Float opened. Inside the rusty remains of the magnet.

Completely remove the old magnet will not work, but you can insert a new one. I put the float in three round of powerful neodymium magnets (in both cases helped two magnet ball from NeoKub).
Magnets in the float is now lower than they were, so the ascent of the float reed switch is closed first, and then re-open (the magnets is above it), so I had to slightly raise the reed switch.

On the same day in the same way denied another Atmor Inline, repaired as well, but there is a float opened easily enough.

His Atmor InLine 5 kW I bought in 2012 to replace broken. Then the old heater rotten float broke in half (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/271450.html), And the new could not buy. The first heater worked for 7 years, the second is also 7 years. In the third (another apartment) float was replaced, and have passed another 7 years old and rotted again.

Now I'd rather buy some other flow heater (looking at Ariston Aures), maybe it works for longer without breaking.
