A smart home is not always Wi-Fi and control from a smartphone. Many devices that automate certain household tasks can be completely autonomous. One of these very useful devices is an automatic watering system for plants.

The soft hose has an inner diameter of 4.5 mm and an outer diameter of 6 mm. 10 tees and 4 cross fittings allow watering up to 20 plants. Three straight fittings and three blanking plugs allow the system to be reconfigured.
The system is programmed very simply: the first button changes the irrigation duration (pump operation time) from 1 to 180 seconds (you can set 1-99 seconds in 1 s, 120 s and 180 s increments). The right button changes the watering interval from 12 hours to 15 days (you can set 12 hours and from 1 to 15 days in 1 day increments). Long press of the buttons allows you to speed up the setup process. The indicators show the set values. The ON button allows you to start forced watering to test the system. When the water in the tank runs out, the device starts beeping every 30 seconds.
When the system is programmed, the indicators go out and the green LED flashes every 10 seconds.
The system is powered by four AAA alkaline batteries, which can last up to 6 months. When it's time to change the batteries, the LED starts flashing red instead of green. When the batteries are completely discharged, the LED turns red and the pump turns off.
There is a thread on the bottom of the main unit, allowing it to be screwed onto a regular 0.5-2 liter bottle.

An additional mount is screwed onto the thread of the main unit and allows it to be placed on the edge of any large vessel - a tank, bucket, canister, 19-liter bottle. The autoleuk can be fixed both inside the vessel and outside it.
Two types of nozzles can be used for watering.
At the dispensing nozzle, you can adjust the water flow by twisting and unscrewing the red cap.
The dropper nozzle sticks into the ground and water flows through its grooves.
Everything is done in the auto leyk as it should. And the setting is convenient, and there are many hoses-fittings-nozzles, and, most importantly, there is a universal mount that allows you to fix the main unit to any container with water. A two-liter bottle is enough for only 2-4 waterings, so it makes sense to use a large container (a canister or a 19-liter bottle from a cooler), placing it on the floor. With such a capacity, the watering system for indoor plants will be able to work autonomously for several months. All you need to do is pour water every couple of months and change the batteries every six months.
