The fact that many manufacturers of LED lamps overstate the power settings and output, pointing to the packaging capacity of 20 or even 30 percent more actual, nobody will be surprised. But then, as all manufacturers indicate power RGB-color lights, I was surprised and certainly surprise you.
What do you think, what is the maximum consumption in RGB-illuminator, which says 30 watts? Best case scenario about 9 W!
It turns out that manufacturers of projectors RGB-LEDs indicate the total capacity of red, green and blue colors, but the driver from the cooling system of these projectors are designed only to ensure that full capacity is only burned one color. If you are burning two colors, each of them can shine only half, if all three, then a third. Thus, when any combination of colors and brightness of the RGB-power spotlight is never more than a third of the said, but in fact turns out to be even less (because the producers more power and overstate how we remember).
By the way, for RGB, RGBW or two-color LED strips are also always the maximum power point all colors, but there is such a power can actually be achieved, if we include all the colors in the maximum.
It is important to understand that the tape RGBW in white mode will produce four times less light than the same monochrome ribbon power, and two-tone tape (cool / warm light) in one mode will give twice as less light than the same-color power.
The situation from the RGB-spotlights surprised me. I tested four RGB-prozhektoa two well-known manufacturers and all power never reached third application. Most likely it was made all manufacturers. It turns out that the consumer deceive more than tripled.
