It is difficult to imagine a more absurd and unpleasant situation. Yesterday, I was accused of stealing a candy. I am not kidding.
I buy products at the store The attack on the street Snow in Moscow. After paying at the checkout I was stopped by a security guard and asked to produce the contents of his pockets.
Of course I was surprised and asked, why? He replied that he was told on the radio that the image from the cameras saw that I allegedly took out of the box with a loose candies candy and put it in his pocket.
I did not even took it all seriously. What kind of nonsense? Do I look like a man who would steal a candy in the store? But the guard demanded quite seriously to show that in your pocket. Well, I do not mind, it showed that the pocket is just a phone and nothing else.
Immediately there was the security chief and began to put pressure on me: "Where do you threw it?" "Or do you have time to eat it?". The second guard started to look for this unfortunate virtual candy at the cash register. I did not find itself.
You know what the hardest part of this stupid situation? It is unpleasant that I, a man who not only never did not steal anything, but even return the money to the sellers Aliekspress when this product comes a few months after winning a dispute, accused of theft, with some penny nonsense.
I admit that there are errors. I admit that the picture with the camera can show something, but in this case it would be correct if Guard just asked me to wait and quietly explained that cameras that something was found suspicious. In my case, I was accused guards and the security chief was absolutely convinced that I stole this unfortunate piece of candy.
I had to stand and wait - head of security did not allow me to leave, the other guard went to watch the recording from the cameras. Fifteen minutes later he returned and said that they made a mistake - I just put the phone in his pocket, which was in my hand. The guards apologized second quipped "it was nice to spend time with you."
Absolutely stupid situation where you know that in no way to blame, but the guards to keep you confident that you are a thief. And it is very unpleasant situation. The mood is certainly spoiled.
Of course, I wrote a complaint in the book of complaints and suggestions, but it is unlikely this has some meaning.
