Capacitor similar small rechargeable battery having a very small capacitance.
But how and where this property can be used?
EXAMPLE 1: Light Flashing
One example is a flashing light. To light flashing, you need some kind of scheme to turn on and off lights.
But you also need something to ensure that, when the light is turned on, it stays on for a while.
And when it is turned off, it stays off for a while.
Otherwise, he would have simply switched instantly.
Here is where the capacitor is used. This simple and perfect its application.
The whole thing because it takes time for a capacitor charging and discharging.
Thus, it introduces a time delay into the circuit and thereby slows circuit operation to a reasonable blink rate.
Example 2: Emergency power in the electrical circuit
Another example is the "emergency power supply" for circuits.
If the power supply consumes a lot of energy - for example, it includes a relay - this can lead to a drop in voltage for a very short time.
If the same power supply feeds the circuit which is very sensitive to voltage drops, the capacitor comes to the rescue.
Since the capacitor can store energy, it can maintain a stable voltage for a short time when the power source can not do this.
It's simple!
