- Stopping the engine and opening the hood, the ignition coil is sought. Usually it is about tramblera or starter.
- From any candles disconnected high-voltage cable.
- By means of a special key plug is unscrewed.
- Cables dressed back to the candle.

- Teammate starts the engine.
- If there was a spark of blue, then Coil OK. Orange means outages. No spark makes it clear that the device needs to be replaced.

Method is as follows:
- The ignition coil is dismantled from the vehicle. To do this, from her disconnected all the wires and unscrewed the bolts.
- Use an ohmmeter instrument. On the side of the coil 2 are searched contact, which is connected to the measuring instrument. The data obtained show the resistance value on the primary winding.
- Further ohmmeter connected to one of the lateral and central contacts from which extends the wire to the ignition distributor. The resulting evidence will provide information about the resistance of the secondary winding.
After the measurements are compared with the data recorded results deposited directly on the reel. If they're not available, then the information is searched for in the data sheet.
When the figures are different from the norm, the coil needs to be replaced.
Instructions for replacing the coil
Operation of the coil replaced by the following:
- Disconnects the battery.
- Dismantled the old reel. To do this, disconnect all the contacts and the central wire leading to the timer. Pre-entry is the location of the wires.
- Unscrewed the housing nuts. They can simply relax, then the device can be easily removed.
- At this place set a new coil, the nuts are tightened and all wires are connected back.
