There are many popular methods to help clear blockages. People are used to using soda for these purposes. It is mixed with salt, vinegar is added there.
That is, you need at least three components. You must admit that the house does not always have everything you need. And this already causes some inconvenience, because you have to go to the store for the missing components.
Fortunately, there is a great alternative. I suggest you try to get rid of the blockages with detergent. The most ordinary one, which you probably have in your household.
It so happens that the blockage does not seem to be too large, but it prevents the water from draining quickly. In situations like this will help prevention. With its help, the blockage will not increase.
For preventive purposes, we will take the most ordinary washing powder that we use for washing things. We put it in the sink. Determine the amount of powder yourself. Take as much as you don't mind.
Naturally, for a large blockage, more powder is needed. For instance, I usually take about three to four tablespoons.
It should be noted here that you can slightly dilute the powder with water (for these purposes it is better to take a hot one) to make a porridge. But this item is optional, if you don't want it, don't dilute it.
So, I put the powder in the sink, pour a little hot water into it and leave. Until the morning.
Washing powder, when it gets into the thick of the blockage, binds fat there. As a result, the pipes are cleaned. In the morning I come to the kitchen, turn on the hot water to the maximum and that's it! The blockage flows smoothly down the drain.
That's not all the plumber told me. He also advised to connect the drain from the washing machine directly to the sink siphon. When the machine starts to drain, the soapy water will clear the drain! Ingenious and simple!
