On average, the size varies between 20,000-150,000 rubles. In some cases, you will have to pay with a fortune: the fine for cutting down relic crops reaches millions of rubles. An alternative to material punishment can be forced labor and imprisonment for a certain period.
When can you cut trees
Let's say someone bought a neglected plot, and there was a need to clear it from green spaces. Private property is not a reason to take up a chainsaw and uproot huge stumps. It is best to contact your local authority for permission. So it will be possible to play it safe, because neighbors in the country can go to higher authorities with a complaint.
- Without a twinge of conscience, you can remove trees that are not particularly valuable species.
- Do not worry if your summer cottage is not adjacent to the forest and is located at a sufficient distance from it.
- Do not eliminate several large trees at once: in case of misunderstanding, it will be more difficult to justify, and the fine will be unbearable.
- Pay attention to the structure. Nests and hollows often serve as habitats for birds and animals listed in the Red Book.
- Consider recovery measures right away. In the felling site, other trees need to be planted, thereby renewing the ecosystem.
- Contact conservationists. There are similar organizations in all regions. They will not disregard your problem and help resolve the issue peacefully.
