Today everyone is trying to protect themselves as much as possible from a dangerous virus. Naturally, I, too, could not ignore this question. I want to tell you how you can make an inexpensive and effective antiseptic with your own hands.

We need 4 simple components. By the way, WHO itself recommends it as a prophylaxis against the spread of various infections, including coronavirus.

So, to prepare an antiseptic, you need to take glycerin, pharmacy alcohol, hydrogen peroxide and water (boiled or distilled).

I note right away that after using this product, your hands will not stink with alcohol, the smell will quickly disappear. Thanks to glycerin, the antiseptic does not dry the skin, on the contrary, it makes it softer.

It is highly undesirable to use any other components, as this may reduce the effectiveness of the antiseptic. It is also better to refuse flavors.

Recipe for 100 ml of antiseptic

WHO recommends mixing the components in the following order:

  • Pour 96 percent pharmacy alcohol into the container;
  • Add hydrogen peroxide to it;
  • Then pour glycerin into the mixture;
  • Then add water.

I do not recommend measuring the components down to every milligram. A deviation of up to 5% in any direction will not affect anything. The only condition is that the alcohol in the finished composition is at least 75%.

For the preparation of an antiseptic, you can use ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol. I bought Aseptolin solution, it was freely available for sale in our pharmacy. And there is already a little glycerol in it, so I added a little less glycerin than in the recipe.

If we talk about other antiseptics, I note that compounds containing alcohol are the best to fight viruses. They perfectly disinfect the skin.

Pour the resulting product into a convenient bottle with a spray bottle and do not forget to always carry it with you. In any public places today such an antiseptic is an irreplaceable thing!
