How to get a tick using a nail. In the case when there is nothing useful nearby.

There was practically no winter cold this year. In some Russian regions, winter generally looked more like spring. And since the frosts did not visit us, the population of ticks in the warm season will increase significantly.

Those who like to spend time in nature will not like this news. Usually blood-sucking, hibernating in winter, die due to severe cold weather. Since many of them survived, you need to prepare in advance to meet with arthropods. Nobody is safe from an attack by bloodsuckers!

Often ticks attack people at very inopportune moments, when there is no first-aid kit, tweezers, needles, sunflower oil and other means of fighting bloodsuckers at hand. By the way, I do not recommend removing mites with oil, but this is a departure from the topic. Do not leave a tick on the body? And you can't pull it out with your bare hands.

There is one method that few have heard of. Ordinary nails will come to the rescue in the fight against bloodsuckers.

We warm up the nail.

take a nail, heat it over an open fire (candle, lighter, etc.). You will also need some kind of container with a lid to place the removed tick in it.

So, gently attach the red-hot nail to the abdomen of the bloodsucker. Do not press too hard, proceed gently. Your goal is not to kill the pest, but simply to create uncomfortable conditions for him.

The tick will not be able to withstand the high temperature for a long time and will leave the wound on its own. Then act quickly. Throw off the bloodsucker into the prepared container and close the lid. It is advisable to take the tick for analysis.

Put the tick in a bowl and take it away for analysis.

At the end, the wound must be disinfected. Take a cotton swab, disc, or just a piece of cotton wool. Press gently on the bite to drain the tick's saliva. It also does not hurt to treat the wound with something containing alcohol.

After all the manipulations done, do not delay the visit to the hospital. After all, ticks are insidious and dangerous bloodsuckers. Better to play it safe than to suffer the dire consequences of their bite.
