I prepared the log and sanded it in advance. The material was dried outside for five months. I plan to make the bathhouse in two parts - the steam room and the sink are made of logs, and the rest room is built on a wooden frame. As a result, you get two rooms 3 * 3 meters.

For sandy soil, I set up a strip foundation. Trenches are pulled out under the foundation (depth - 600 mm), then the formwork is exposed. The width of the tape was specially taken with a margin (300 - 350 mm). For the reinforcement, four 12 mm rods were needed. I ordered a little more concrete than needed. Therefore, instead of the standard tape, it was necessary to fill the plate with tape.

After a week and a half, I started assembling the log house. Its area is 3 * 3, six-meter logs are gone without a trace. The sequence of actions is as follows:

1. A waterproofing layer is being laid (I have 2 layers of roofing material).

2. On the waterproofing is placed the 1st crown of a bar (dimensions - 200 * 200 mm).

3. All corners are dovetail to protect against blowing.

4. The logs are processed manually - with an ax, the corners are cut off with a chainsaw.

5. In the area of the wash, the logs are left round at the sides (in the future they need to be sanded and varnished).

6. The log cabin of the steam room is laid up to a height of 2.5 meters (in accordance with the project).

7. The assembly of the second part begins, in which the rest room is located: the lower trim of the frame part is being prepared. For this, racks are set up and fixed with long nails. The connection is reinforced with mounting brackets.

8. Intermediate posts are installed (with a step of 700 mm). When laying, the racks must be placed so that the clearance between adjacent elements is less than the width of the insulation by a couple of centimeters.

9. The upper trim is assembled in the same way, then the doorway is cut out.

We pass to the rafter system - I chose a gable roof for my project. The rafters were assembled on the ground, then they were attached to the upper harness. When the rafter legs are secured, it's time to stuff the battens. For the roof, I used a corrugated sheet, so I made the lathing sparse.

To keep the bath warm during the cold months, I built a vestibule. To do this, I put bricks under the bars. A profiled sheet is laid on the crate. In order to protect the attic from water infiltration, I placed metal trays under the sheets (at the junction point of the vestibule). The frame part was sheathed with OSB and covered with foil.

When finished with the cladding, I installed the windows. My windows are small, with a "function" of ventilation. The doors were made of frame (one side - OSB, the other - lining). On this note, I left the log house for the winter - it has yet to settle. In the spring, I insulated the frame part of the building, then covered the insulation with a membrane for vapor barrier.

Moving on to finishing the ceiling. I settled on a budget trim. In the intervals between the rafters he filled short boards. Before installation, the material is processed, then cut. Support bars are stuffed onto the rafters, cut boards are attached to them from below.

I used siding as the outer skin for the bath. The cladding turned out to be not 5+, but I took care of the ventilation gap between the siding and the wall. There will be no problems with moisture removal. To cover the interior rooms, I filled a crate, attached a lining to it. The steam room was completely covered with foil. In the washing room, moisture-resistant drywall is used for wall cladding (tiles are glued to it, and lining in the steam room).

I cut a hole in the wall for the oven. Heating will take place from the rest room, I will place the "body" in the steam room. Before installing the oven, I laid a brick base. The fuel removal was overlaid with fireclay bricks.

The matter remains small - the sink is finished with tiles, which are fixed with waterproof glue. The floor in the steam room and shower is made with a slope towards the drain.
