It often happens that your apartment smells bad. And we start looking for the sources of this unpleasant smell, we search everything around, we look for what smells so bad, and when we do not find it, we have even more questions.
And the answer to them lies on the surface.
This smell in the apartment is from neighbors, and penetrates our apartment through the hood.
Now the question is, what to do with this?
Call special services?
The police?
Or is there another faster and more efficient way?
The task seems difficult, but we will solve it quickly, efficiently and without spending money!
How do you like this idea? Do you think the next fake? We'll see!
This method works on any grill that decorates your hood: ordinary, with latches, there is absolutely no difference.
Regardless of the grille model, first we disassemble it if it is collapsible, or remove it if it is not collapsible.
They took off, before your eyes you have a free ventilation duct?
It only means that you have already done half of the work.
At the next stage, we are looking for a film from the wife in the kitchen, albeit from a garbage bag, from a simple bag, packaging, it does not matter.
The main thing is that it is not too wrinkled and without holes.
Next, you need to cut out a rectangular piece from it, of such a size that there would be a couple of centimeters in stock at the bottom and top of the ventilation hole.
The sides can be cut in such a way that there is a gap of a couple of millimeters between the film and the ventilation hole.
Then, on the frame, from the side of the ventilation duct, I fit the cut out film. I wrap the edges protruding from above, and leave the lower edge in a free position. You do not need to press down on the bottom edge.
We fasten or assemble the frame, and it's done. There will be no more smell from neighbors in your apartment. When the air comes out of your apartment, the film will rise and not interfere with the air coming out.
When reverse thrust occurs, the film will stick tightly to the frame and prevent the fetid air from entering your apartment.
Well, when you put everything in place, cut off the excess film protruding from the grate with a clerical knife. And despite the fact that of course you cannot remove 100 percent of the return flow, and if at least 80 percent is removed, then this will be quite enough.
So if the smell of neighboring apartments worries you, then go for it!
