I was looking for a pine stand in the barn and came across one single watermelon left over from September)))
According to the established family tradition in recent years, every year at the beginning of autumn with my wife we go to the melon fields and we stock up in small wholesale (trunk) with the last seasonal harvest to eat, distribute to parents and salt of course.
Apparently, one of the few watermelons rolled into the far corner, they threw rubbish at it and it successfully lay until the new year!
I was surprised to find, so I think it will decorate the New Year's table! It looks pretty well preserved, the crust is hard. From December 30, he lies in the room, waiting in the wings. I have heard that watermelons in cool rooms can stay and not spoil for a long time!
The whole family, as usual, arranged a photo session around the find, unusual? In Russia, watermelon, for the New Year!
We laid the New Year's table at about 23-00, sat down, spent the Old Year, let's cut it out, I think!
Everyone is hiding, waiting for the "watermelon aroma")))
I insert the knife, and the watermelon pops and falls apart in half. How so? It looks like a perfectly normal ripe watermelon. How do they process it like that?
To my chagrin, we were unable to enjoy the "summer" aroma, but we spent the outgoing year laughing!
That's all! May every day give you a smile! Good luck and good in the New Year!
