The fungus develops at an incredible rate... Advertising is replete with various magic means that, after one or two treatments, get rid of mold. All this is of course good, only mold does not live where we spray chemistry, but deep-deep in the wall and fungus spores live inside the walls, being at a depth of 30-50 cm.
Therefore, any chemistry - does not last long and this is a fact! Even special organizations with expensive high-quality chemistry cannot completely eliminate the source of the lesion, and these drugs have incredible penetrating ability ...
And, as the specialist explained to me: do not even waste time on treatment with chemistry, anyway in a week, a month or by winter, the fungus will begin to develop again, and all because chemistry removes the effect and does not eliminate the cause in any way origin. By means of chemistry, we will not get to the hearth, which can be defeated by changing conditions, but changing conditions is the key to removing mold.
How does a fungus develop?
I propose to objectively look at things and remember biology. For the successful development of any fungus, 3 components are needed:
1) Temperature. Mold develops at temperatures from +21 ° С to +32 ° С. Growth stops outside these boundaries. Below +5 ° C and above +37 ° C, the spores gradually begin to die off.
2) Carbon dioxide.
3) Water. For the fungus to develop successfully, the moisture level must be slightly above 95%.
To get rid of mold - you just need to remove one of the ingredients!
Moisture appears as a result of condensation, which is initiated by the temperature difference and when the air is oversaturated with water, dew falls on the surface. In most cases, the installation of forced ventilation saves, since good air exchange can reduce the concentration of carbon dioxide and lower humidity.
As for the temperature, it is quite possible to get rid of mold only by insulating the building. In some cases, it is enough to install a radiator near the wall, which will locally warm up the area and dry the air.
As you can see, removing only one component, we can stop the development of the fungus.
There is no other way out, if we do not remove the cause, then not a single antifungal agent will help, since it acts on 1-5 cm. deep, and the mold thread is located in the pores of the wall up to half a meter.
