Sberbank has released a super-cheap TV set-top box Okko Smart Box, which can be used not only for its intended purpose. :)
The prefix costs 1,490 rubles. It connects to the TV via HDMI, in addition, it needs power from any USB connector. Supports Wi-Fi 2.4 and 5 GHz. The set-top box comes with a remote control with a built-in microphone for voice control.
The main purpose of the set-top box, as the name suggests, is to view the OKKO Internet cinema. Besides, it can show 160 TV channels from the Internet. But all this is by subscription for a monthly fee (a three-month subscription is given to the set-top box).
But when the subscription ends, apparently the set-top box can be used for free to watch Youtube with a convenient remote control and voice search.
But that is not all. :)
The hardware in the console is quite powerful and, apparently, the cost of this console is higher than the money for which it is sold. Hackers have already created alternative firmware for this set-top box, turning it into a full-fledged Android-TV BOX. Details on the forum:
