Secret excursion to the Hanoi-Moscow shopping center

  • Dec 11, 2020

Yesterday, on the last day before the introduction of the passes, I went to "Hanoi" and saw what was going on there.

In fact, I did not violate the conditions of self-isolation. I had to get to the Solidarity Bank, the nearest branch of which is located in Hanoi.

Yandex maps say that the shopping center is closed for visits.

In fact, the 2nd and 3rd floors turned out to be closed, and on the first, something is working, only there are practically no people.

There is exactly one person in Fixprice and this is a bored cashier.

Most Vietnamese shops are closed, but the goods are inside.

When I arrived there at about 17:00, five shops were open, when I left in half an hour there were only three.

There are even two customers in this store.

And in this, even the sellers are not visible, although the store is open.

And in this one, where I bought macadamias, dried mangoes, Vietnamese sweets and fo-bo ala Doshirak soups, I even had to wait outside while other customers were served inside.

Due to the growth of the exchange rate, a lot has risen in price: large macadamia 1000 rubles per kg, dried mango 950 rubles per kg. Sweets and pho-bo are still at the old prices - 150 and 30 rubles, respectively.

Several buyers roam the "Magnet".

And at the end of the building of the Hanoi-Moscow shopping center, facing the Moscow Ring Road, there is a sad advertisement about renting apartments with discounts, the Vietnamese, you see, have basically moved out.

By the way, it looks like the epidemic canceled the "90 minutes" tariff on the Troika card. I went there on one bus, and back on two with a transfer. For each of the three trips, they charged me 40 rubles, and in theory they should have written off 40 for the first, 21 for the second and nothing for the third.
