Sometimes there are devices with a Chinese or American plug, in which it is impossible to replace the plug and have to use adapters, most of which not only look flimsy, but also take a lot places. I found a flat adapter made very thoroughly.
Adapter AUKTION 16A costs $ 2 and supports six types of plugs.
The adapter adds only 9 millimeters between a device with a Chinese plug and a Euro socket.
I bought it for the Xiaomi smart home gateway.
The gateway is forcefully inserted into the adapter and becomes one with it.
It is almost impossible to pull the gateway out of the adapter by hand. In order to separate them, I had to use additional tools.
The adapter is collapsible, its two halves are fastened with three self-tapping screws.
For each type of plug, a separate bend of the contacts.
The plug contact is firmly sealed in the contact strip. Does not dangle or scroll. The plug contacts are solid (the hole was drilled to a shallow depth for fastening and the possibility of rolling).
Resistance of one contact is 1.6 mOhm (mOhm is milliohm, do not confuse with megohm megohm).
The resistance of the second contact is 1.4 mΩ.
The plastic from which the adapter is made does not burn.
Unlike cheap adapters, the flat adapter not only takes up very little space, but also does not compromise the reliability of the connection or make it more dangerous.
