Now every visitor to the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Hill can see a portrait of my grandfather.

You can also post photos and stories of your relatives there.

At the end of 2019, the national historical depository of the Victory Face was launched. The Victory Face hall with two huge screens appeared on the ground floor of the Victory Museum.

Photos with faces of people who lived in 1941-1945 are constantly moving on the screens.

Ten terminals are installed in front of the screens, where you can find your relatives, if they are already in the depository.

The terminal displays information about the person, and his photograph starts to be displayed on the large screen.
Here is information about my grandfather - Petr Mikhailovich Kuzmin.

The depository accepts photographs and stories not only of participants in the war. There can be posted information about everyone who survived the war or died in it.

There are three ways to post information: through the website, by mail, by personal visit.

Website Faces of Victory. RF (historydepositarium.ru) allows you to add one photo and accompanying text.

It was in this way that I added information about my grandfather to the depository.
Those who find it difficult to use the Internet send photos and information by regular mail.

Surprisingly, some send originals of historical photographs.

And even field letters-triangles.

In addition, you can come with photographs and documents directly to the Victory Museum. Photos will be scanned, the text will be entered into the base from words or from documents. Now the museum is closed due to the epidemic and you cannot come in person, but as soon as the museum opens, admission to the depository with a personal visit will be possible again.

All data is moderated and gets into the general database within a month.
Now the data from the Faces of Victory depository can be seen only on the screens of the Victory Museum, but in September a large site update: the depository data will be displayed on the site and the ability to edit and supplement previously entered ones will appear data.

The depository now contains hundreds of thousands of faces and stories. 8-10 thousand entries are added every week.

Unfortunately, people's memory is arranged in such a way that we forget our history during our daily activities. Few of us can remember the names of our great-grandfathers and great-grandmothers. The National Historical Depository of the Face of Victory was created in order to preserve the memory of everyone who contributed to the Victory.

Find photos and information about your relatives who lived at that time and add them to the site Faces of Victory. RF.

P.S. I would like to express my gratitude to the staff of the Victory Museum for the story about the work of the depository and for showing the new grandiose multimedia exposition.
