Absolutely everyone likes these canned tomatoes, you just have to try them once and you will not be able to come off. The main advantage is that they are prepared without vinegar, and a very small amount of citric acid plays its role.

For cooking you will need:

  • small tomatoes (preferably slightly oblong) - 1 kg;
  • garlic - 4 cloves;
  • bay leaf - 4 pcs.;
  • sweet peas –10 pcs .;
  • cherry and currant leaves;
  • dill (stems or umbrellas);
  • hot pepper - optional;
  • citric acid - 1/2 tsp spoons.

Marinade:

  • drinking water - 1 liter;
  • salt - 1 tbsp. the spoon;
  • sugar - 7 tbsp. spoons.

When choosing the ingredients for the marinade, I advise you to rely on your taste. Some can be removed, some can be added on the contrary.

Cooking method

Wash the tomatoes well and cover them with water, leave so for 10 minutes.

At the bottom of a clean sterilized jar, you need to send all the ingredients for the marinade, and this is bay leaf, dill, cherry or currant leaves, a few cloves of garlic, etc.
