Pickled plums recipes

Before each recipe, you need to remove the stalks, leaves. Rinse thoroughly. Wipe and leave to dry. I use paper towels to absorb all the moisture into them.

You will need:

- 3 kg of plums;

- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon;

- 1.2 kg of sugar;

- 10 black peppercorns and cloves;

- 250 ml of vinegar (9%);

- bay leaf to taste.

Recipe number 1

Before starting, pierce all the plums with a fork. Straight to the bone. Take an enamel pot and pour the vinegar into it. Add sugar, cloves and pepper. Put on the stove. This mass must be brought to a boil. Stir. Otherwise, the sugar will burn. It needs to be completely dissolved.

Put the plums in jars. Pour the resulting hot mass on top. Leave to brew overnight. The plums must be fed and juiced.

In the morning, you need to drain all the marinade into a saucepan. And boil again. Also pour the plums with hot mass. Leave them to stand for about 12 hours.

Now merge again and repeat all actions. Only this time add cinnamon to the drained marinade. After boiling, leave to boil for another 5 minutes. Let it cool.

Plums should also cool down during this time. Now they need to be put in clean jars. Boil the marinade again for 5 minutes. Done! Now you need to pour the plums. We twist the jars and let them cool. You can store such a dish in the refrigerator or in a cool place. It could be a cellar.

Recipe number 2

Prepare plums and marinade in the same way. Fill. We leave to stand overnight. In the morning we drain and boil the marinade. We leave to infuse for a day. The next day, drain, add cinnamon and boil for a couple of minutes. Fill with the plum mixture. Now you need to leave them to stand for 3 days. In this case, it is worth putting on the lid tightly. You can also tie them with a towel.

After three days, pour the plums together with the marinade into a saucepan. They need to be boiled together. No more than 5 minutes.

Can now be placed in clean, sterilized jars. Directly hot. Roll up. Turn the banks upside down. Wrap them up in a warm blanket or blanket. They should stand this way until they cool down. Done!

You can pickle plums more easily. This recipe is without sterilization.

Recipe number 3

You will need:

- 0.7 kg of sugar;

- 1 kg of plums;

- 0.5 liters of vinegar (9%).

Separate the seeds from the pulp. Send the plums to the pot.

Make a marinade by combining vinegar and sugar. Bring this mixture to a boil, but do not boil. Pour it over the plums. Let them stand for 24 hours. Repeat the described procedure three more times. Done!
