Tomatoes and plums have some similarities, so if they end up in the same jar, it will not produce any resonance in taste, on the contrary, it will add some piquancy. These two ingredients will be able to saturate each other with taste. In addition to the fact that it will be possible to consume both fruits and vegetables at once, it is additionally necessary to focus on brine, because it is ideal as a juice or even a drink that satisfies well thirsty.

Let's figure out what is needed to create delicious jars:

  • Primarily tomatoes, but also plums.
  • Bay leaf, 5 leaves per 1 liter will be enough.
  • Carnation - 10 pieces.
  • Garlic 5 cloves.
  • Sugar 100 g.
  • Salt 1 tbsp l.
  • Vinegar 50 ml.
  • Litere of water.

The prepared marinade can be enough for two liter jars. After the ingredients are ready, you need to wash the plums and tomatoes. It is advisable to select vegetables and fruits well so that they are tight. The garlic is peeled, and each clove is cut into several pieces, you can cut it into strips or slices, it does not matter.

The jars should also be well prepared, it is advisable to sterilize them before immersing all products.

As soon as the ingredients are decomposed, you need to boil the water and pour it over the jars. Let it brew for 10 minutes. After that, the water is poured back into the pot and brought back to a boil. Pour tomatoes and plums in a jar with this water again.

Such preservation, when poured with boiling water several times, makes it possible for plums and tomatoes not to burst, they remain absolutely intact and undamaged in the jar.

For the third time, pour the marinade into the jar. To prepare it, add sugar, salt, cloves, bay leaves to the water. When everything boils together, remove the marinade from the stove and add vinegar to it.

The resulting marinade is again poured into jars of tomatoes and plums, covered with lids and rolled up.

If necessary, you can sterilize the jars again, already loaded with ingredients and marinade. To check if the lids are leaking and if air has entered the jar, turn it upside down and leave it in this position for a while.

After a while, it is recommended to move the jars to the cellar and take them out in winter, when you want to eat something piquant, which could somehow remind you of summer.
