A disgustingly simple way to remove carbon deposits from a frying pan

When you regularly use a frying pan, sooner or later the day comes when the demanded item of dishes becomes too dirty: grease and soot do their mean job. Cleaning the pan after this can be very difficult. Modern store chemistry does not always cope with the task at hand. In such a situation, there is only one thing left - to resort to "grandmother's" techniques. One such is in service.

To clean the frying pan from old soot and fat, you will need soda, mustard powder, silicate glue, water, several separate containers for subsequent mixing and cooking. The whole process will take about an hour, provided that everything necessary for the work was prepared in advance. So here's what to do.

First we take half a bowl of mustard powder, half a glass of soda and quite a bit of silicate glue. First mix the mustard and soda in a clean container and mix well. Then, we collect water in a separate container and add all the ingredients there at once. It is best to mix in a large bucket or saucepan.

Next, heat the container with water and the mixture to a boil, lowering the problem pan there. "Cook" a frying pan for 30-45, at least 60 minutes. The process is not fast, but only during this time will soda and mustard powder be able to loosen carbon deposits with boiling water. After "boiling", remove the dish item and begin to "scrape" it with a hard sponge using ordinary detergent. Fat and carbon deposits will have to peel off themselves.
