A solar collector is an excellent solution for organizing heating in a workshop, garage, technical room, chicken coop and even at home. The main advantage of the received energy is that it will be virtually free. At the same time, factory-made solar collectors are quite expensive devices. This fact is all the more surprising, the more complete the realization that there is nothing complicated in their design.
What you need: aluminum cans, profile pipes, moisture-resistant plywood, snail fan, glass, silicone.
In the proposed design, elements that are heated by the sun's rays will be used thin-walled aluminum tubes that will have to be made from aluminum cans from beer or soda. First of all, for all cans, you need to drill the bottom with a crown and grind off the lid seam. Depending on the size of the collector, the project may require from hundreds to several hundred aluminum cans.
The collector body is made of moisture-resistant materials such as suitable plywood. You can also assemble it from broken factory solar panels. The engineering solution in this area is limited only by the capabilities and imagination of the master. It is imperative to make a window for the fan in the collector casing and immediately fix it by blowing out. For structural reliability, an additional frame can also be superimposed on the main frame.
It is recommended to use hot melt glue as the main fastener.
You can connect the cans with each other using silicone. However, even in this case, it is better to process them with glue first. It will increase the maximum threshold of reliability, especially during the assembly phase of the structure. The assembled cans are fixed on the installed jumpers with slots to fit. You can cement the structure with the same silicone.
Do not forget to install a mosquito net on the outside of the fan. It is needed so that insects and foreign objects do not enter the system. To increase the efficiency of the collector, its inner part is painted with black paint. Glass is installed on top of it, which is fixed with silicone.

All that remains to be done after that is to install the collector on the roof from the sunny side and bring the pipe from the ventilation to the interior with the propeller working. The fan can be powered both from the network and from the solar panel itself. On a clear day, a home-made collector heats the air to +60 Celsius.
