Anything happens in life. The day may come when you need to screw a lamp with a thin base into a regular socket. Every owner with a chord will say that this is impossible for objective technical reasons. And in general it will be right. However, the "but" in this matter is that if there is a really urgent need, you can go for one curious trick.
So, let's imagine that we need to screw a light bulb with an E14 base into the E27 socket. How can I do that? This is a good question, but there is a fairly simple answer to it. It should be noted right away that this technique should be used only in emergency situations, when a way out of the situation must be found in a short period of time. To implement the "project" you will need an E27 lamp. We carefully break its flask and also carefully remove its contents.
Remove contacts and insulation using suitable tools. After that, we take measuring instruments and measure the diameter of the E14 base. Now we take a piece of tin (you can cut some empty can) and make a hole in it for our base. After that, we also measure the diameter of E27 in the same way and make markings around the hole.

Next, we cut out a circle with a hole. It will fit into our larger diameter chuck. For a reliable connection, it is recommended to solder the structure. After that, it remains only to gently and leisurely screw in the lamp with a smaller cartridge. If everything was done correctly, then it will be strong enough. It remains only to connect the system to the network and check its performance.
