The third thing to remember is that brighter does not mean better. Standard halogen lamps have a lifespan of approximately 600 hours at an optimum voltage of 13.2 V. Increasing the direction to increase brightness by at least 5% results in a halogen lamp serving 40% less. If you want to make a high-quality replacement of lighting equipment, then it is better to pay attention to LED (light-emitting diode) headlights or OLED (organic light-emitting diode) headlights. At the same time, during the purchase, you should definitely pay attention to whether there is a conformity mark on the packaging. However, even in this case, it will not work to replace the halogen with an LED without the help of specialists.

However, if you really want to, you can still raise the brightness by increasing the voltage. Moreover, standard headlights very often lose power due to problems with electronics, primarily because power comes from the mounting block in the passenger compartment through relays and fuses. To increase the voltage (bring it to its standard values), it is necessary to clean all contacts, lubricate them with electrically conductive grease, check the fuse box for problems. In addition, you can purchase and install adapters to increase the wire size. All this will increase the voltage by 0.35-2 Volts. Even an increase of 1 volt gives a significant increase in brightness! But (again) such headlights will burn out much faster.
