The designer secretly told how to refresh an old kitchen set for a penny

Designer Nika Dyuzheva told us 5 effective tricks that won't hit your wallet and won't turn into time-consuming repairs.

5. Change handles

Cabinet handles play a very important role. By updating the pens, you will immediately notice how the headset has changed. It is better to replace the familiar models with new products, for example, from IKEA. They can be made in the form of washers or elongated cylinders bent from the edges.

Try models in shades of glossy chrome or brass - brushed metal makes the interior cheaper. Taking care of them is not at all so difficult; wipes and window cleaner will help with this.

Also, do not be afraid to use larger options, they will look more effective.

4. Paint the apron

There are also paints for tiles. With their help, you can interestingly refresh the apron. If in your kitchen it is still decorated with images of teapots or flowers, try to make it plain.

Today the principle prevails - the simpler the better. Do not be confused by the outstanding seams. The apron is at eye level, and therefore it is the first to open to the eye.

The old kitchen is given out first of all by the seams, which are already poorly washed, old greasy stains and uneven joints.

3. Competently organize storage

Everyday things should not be constantly in sight and distract attention from the interior itself. Therefore, each subject should correctly choose its place. These places should be easily accessible.

Try replacing some of the cabinets with drawers. They are more convenient for storage. A simpler option is to organize things thematically, create separate organizers, for example, for spices, tea, cereals, and so on, and then place them on the shelves.

You can leave certain groups of objects in sight, but it is important to give them the appearance of a single composition.

2. Refresh the interior with greenery

You can always refresh the set with green plants. Natural or artificial - depends on the degree of illumination of the room. Try to pick up more concise compositions of low leaves and twigs - such that they do not touch the bottom of the upper tier, being placed on the table top.

It is better not to overload the interior, adding heavy decor to the already formed style. Therefore, it is better to choose simpler pots or pots for plants.

Minimalistic models are suitable for brass, chrome metal or stone, but without catchy prints.

1. Remove information noise

The items that you plan to leave on the countertop should not create information noise. Therefore, it is recommended to remove labels from oil or cleaning agent bottles. Better yet, pour liquids into special dispensers.

However, these items must be matched in the same style.
