Designer Irina Kireeva designed a one-room apartment in a new building in a modern style for a young girl. The color scheme of the interior is based on white with a variety of its half-tones.

total area: 53 m²

Budget: 6.5 million rubles

A place: Moscow

Who lives here: young girl

Designer: Irina Kireeva (Studio dots & points)

Stylists: Anna Piskun and Irina Kireeva (dots & points studio)

The client wanted a large dressing room, a spacious bathroom, and a separate bedroom. In addition, her wishes included the division of the living room into a recreation area and a dining room.

When decorating an apartment in white, it was important to avoid the "sterility" effect. This was achieved through the use of various light shades and accessories that acted in contrast.

An important place in the interior was taken by art objects purchased by the customer in various parts of the world. They all required exhibition space, and the apartment eventually became a kind of small salon.

Living room

The main accent, shading the almost snow-white design of the living room, was a dark blue couch. The seating area was also outlined with a silk Persian carpet from Isfahan.

Objects made in coal-black color - the picture frame and the lampshade - became important contrasting details in the design.

The dining room was assigned to the window - to the adjacent area, where the border with the loggia previously ran. Many classic candlesticks were used to decorate this area. The chandelier in the living room is made in the shape of a candelabrum.

Kitchen

The designer and the client initially decided to "sacrifice" the kitchen to expand the living space. Therefore, the apartment was equipped with a kitchen-niche.

It was important for the hostess that the kitchen could be completely closed from the living area. The solution was a retractable partition with mirrored panels. This find also made it possible to visually expand the living room.

Bedroom

The bedroom, like the kitchen niche, is also hidden behind a mirrored compartment door.

The white color in the room was diluted with dark gray shades of textiles and a bright red accent in the form of a picture that the hostess brought from Laos.

Bathroom

Mirrors were also widely used in the design of the bathroom. Due to this, the combined bathroom looks even more spacious.

An important element of the decor was the mosaic panel above the bathroom.

Also, a place in the interior was taken by a sculpture from Bogota, depicting an ancient South American deity.

Wardrobe

For ease of storage, a spacious dressing room was arranged in the hallway. She actually stood out in a separate small room.
