Designer Marina Svetlova designed a two-room apartment in a new building for a female student.
The apartment was just handed over, the customer received it with pre-final finishing. The rest - from plumbing to decorative items - was thought out with the participation of the designer.
- total area: 55 m²
- A place: St. Petersburg
- Who lives here: student girl
- Budget: 4 million rubles
- Designer: Marina Svetlova
The hostess wanted to make the zoning of a large room, so that, in addition to the kitchen, also highlight the dining room. In addition, to make the living room larger, they made a small redevelopment. In the bedroom, in accordance with the wishes of the customer, a workplace was equipped.
In choosing the general color scheme, preference was given to calm pastel shades. The design used gray-beige and white colors, as well as light wood.
Living room
The curtain wall was removed in the living room, taking over part of the corridor.
The room was divided into a recreation area and a dining room. The border is a wooden partition in the center, to which a table adjoins on one side, and a soft sofa on the other.
A TV was installed on the wall opposite the sofa in the central part of the wooden panel. Open shelves with decorative items were placed on the sides of it.
Doors with geometric patterns are an important element of the interior. They echo in shade with curtains.
Each of the zones has its own lighting: a more comfortable floor lamp was placed near the sofa, and a shell chandelier was hung over the dining table.
Kitchen
The kitchen is separated from the dining room by floor-standing display cabinets. Their top is covered with a table top, and therefore it can serve as both a work surface and a place for breakfast.
Zoning is also carried out at the level of the floor covering - in the kitchen it is laid with large tiles.
Bedroom
A compact workplace was set up at the entrance in the corner. Above it and further along the wall, storage boxes were placed under the ceiling.
The rest of the space is occupied by the sleeping area. The decoration continues the palette of the living room. The textiles and upholstery of the bed add a richer, darker note.
Bathroom
A full-fledged bath was placed in the room, the protruding edge of which was covered with mosaics. This glossy pattern mirrors the panel on the wall.
A storage system was equipped opposite. There was also a laundry room.
The toilet is located in a separate room.
Balcony
A small panoramic balcony was turned into an additional seating area.
A cozy seating area was equipped there, and storage cabinets were installed above and below. Instead of a table, they put a basket made of metal mesh.
On the second balcony there was a place for a mini hammock.
