4. Choose certified materials

Many household goods carry a special eco-label. For example, on wood products you can find the FSC mark with a wood pattern with a check mark.

In this way, the manufacturer ensures that the material is made from wood, the development of which does not provoke resource depletion.

It is best to use water-based paint for wall and ceiling decoration. If you want to glue the wallpaper, then you should prefer paper or textile instead of vinyl.

In addition, it is recommended to abandon PVC stretch ceilings.

3. Take a closer look at inexpensive solid wood furniture

The widespread use of low-grade chipboard in residential areas causes headaches and migraines in some people.

Choose solid wood furniture. If the budget is small, stop at birch, pine and other inexpensive species.

Furniture made of lamellas will cost less than solid wood.
