Designer Anna Morozova designed a 37 m² studio in a new building for a single woman. The inspiration was the nature of Baikal, which is a place of power for the customer. They took the Scandinavian style as a basis.

  • total area: 37 m²
  • Number of rooms: Studio
  • Building type: new building
  • A place: Moscow
  • Who lives here: woman
  • Budget: 2.5-3 million rubles
  • Designer: Anna Morozova

A single room was zoned, highlighting the bedroom, living room and kitchen. The bedroom was taken to the back of the apartment, separated by a partition and left an opening for natural light to penetrate deep into the studio.

Living room

The recreation area was marked with a thin carpet. The sofa was installed as a folding one - it can serve as a guest berth.

A biofireplace with a closed firebox was built into the “wall” opposite. Firewood storage was made open. So they became one of the decorative elements.

The wooden theme was continued by a table with a surface in the form of an oak cut. The floor throughout the apartment was paved with oak engineered planks.

The apartment was rented out without finishing, in the end it was decided not to touch the ceiling in order to save the budget and not narrow the space. An original solution was found for him: the ceiling was partially covered with a Velcro cloth, creating an association with sails and enhancing the feeling of lightness and airiness of the room.

Kitchen

The headset was placed in a united front. Here, too, the main range has been preserved, combining the "Scandinavian" white color with wood.

The dining table, which was the border between the zones, was moved close to the sofa.

Bedroom

The bed was hidden behind a partition of painted wooden slats and decorative masonry. The bricks were laid in a single layer and not brought up to the ceiling to save space and let natural light into the kitchen.

A storage system was placed behind the headboard in addition to a tall wardrobe in the hallway.

Their appearance in the interior, coupled with the open ceilings, made a small hint of the loft style. Natural motives in the form of figures of birds and living plants again appeared in the design of the bedroom.

Bathroom

All the same wooden textures and plants help to avoid the effect of sterility in the bathroom. Here the floor was paved with wood-like tiles. Several storage niches were installed in the wall.
