Designer Ekaterina Sannikova told what rules it is important to follow if you nevertheless decided to make a choice in favor of concrete.
5. Do not overdo it
It is not necessary to "clothe in concrete" ceilings, floors, walls and furniture at the same time, otherwise the room will cease to look residential.
If you are faced with the task of decorating a standard city apartment, the best solution would be to finish one of the walls or only the floor. It is worth considering a larger-scale application of concrete only on an area of more than 100 square meters and in the presence of high ceilings of at least three meters.
4. Add colors
To prevent your home from turning into an industrial space, add warm colors to the interior. Bright accents in the form of furniture or textiles will dilute the cold atmosphere. It is recommended to combine concrete with shades of yellow, mustard, orange or burgundy. In addition, brass or copper metal can be used.

The right choice of lighting will help add warmth. It is worth paying attention to its competent distribution over the entire area of the apartment. So, a few dim lights are the right choice to enhance the texture of the material, in addition to the central overhead lighting.
