As the main wish, the customer announced a convenient layout. As a result, the one-room apartment actually turned into a two-room apartment, since a separate bedroom was allocated in the room. She was carried to the far side of the apartment so as not to block the path of natural light.

  • total area: 40 m²
  • Number of rooms: 1
  • A place: Moscow
  • Who lives here: bachelor
  • Budget: 1.6 million rubles
  • Designer: Alena Bolshakova
The calm "Scandinavian" base was diversified with red elements. The passage between the rooms was left open to make the space more free and airy. It was highlighted in color. This emphasis works on two zones at once.

Living room

The sofa mattress in the recreation area can be transformed into an extra bed if necessary. The textiles were selected with a geometric contrasting print - it brought graphicity.

A TV area and a workplace were placed along the opposite wall. A narrow elongated table in the color of the finish looks almost invisible and does not load a compact space.

Bedroom

Developing a planning solution, the designer and the owner agreed that they should sleep on the bed, not on the sofa. In this regard, they decided to equip an isolated bedroom.

The mini-bedroom area was only 9 m². There is also a spacious storage niche. The room was hidden behind a matte partition. The customer refused the transparent one, because he did not want to use additional curtains.

Kitchen

The kitchen turned out to be the brightest in the apartment due to the greater number of accents. The dining room and the wall clock stand out against the general calm background.

The ceiling was decorated with slats, supporting the wooden textures of the bar counter and the lower tier of the headset.

The facades for the rest of the cabinets were selected in white. The color makes the top look more weightless and does not overwhelm a small space.

Hallway

The hallway turned out to be very bright, since they deliberately tried not to place obstacles to live lighting on the way to it.

Bathroom

The bathroom was done in darker gray shades. In the back, a spacious shower room was equipped.

Instead of a headset, a countertop was used under the sink. It was decorated with elongated stone mosaics.
