Designer Alena Chmeleva designed a 68 m² kopeck piece in a Stalinist house for a couple. They took the classic style as a basis. The base was made warm and refreshed with bright colored accents, which were partially taken from paintings from the family collection.

  • Total area: 68 m²
  • Number of rooms: 2
  • Building type: stalinka
  • A place: Moscow
  • Who lives here: married couple
  • Budget: 15 million rubles
  • Designer: Alena Chmeleva

There were no load-bearing walls inside the plan, so all partitions were dismantled and the space was reorganized. The designer has designed a spacious living-dining room and a separate bedroom with a dressing room and a mini-study for the hostess.

The customers wanted to get a “warm” interior interspersed with saturated colors. It was also required to enter canvases from the family collection. As a result, the designer transferred some of the shades from the paintings, using them as accents in the aesthetic concept of the project.

Living room

The room was almost equally divided lengthwise into a living room and a dining room. For each of the zones, we thought out their own lighting scenario.

A key place in the first of these was the Vanguard Furniture sofa with a catchy plant print. In front of him, as a coffee table, they put a banquet of the same company, covered with leather.

An additional bed was arranged in a niche. Built-in storage systems were installed above and next to the bed. They are made to order according to the designer's sketches.

Kitchen

The kitchen has implemented a tone-on-tone interior design. The Giulia Novars suite, the backsplash with Adex tiles and the Farrow & Ball painted walls are in adjacent shades.

The sink and work area were moved to the window, and a niche was installed under the windowsill, where water filters were placed. So I managed to save space in the closet under the sink.

Bedroom

The wall behind the headboard by Vanguard Furniture has been accentuated. It was decorated with a panel - the artists depicted birds. The overall composition was complemented by the Uttermost mirror, which imitates the feathers of birds gathered in a fan.

A workplace for the hostess was organized by the window behind a wide window sill. It can also function as a dressing table.

Hallway

The hallway was also refreshed with gold accents. A mirror from the IFdecor workshop and a Hinkley Lighting lamp were used here.

Bathroom

The bathroom has become a thematic extension of the rest of the apartment. The contrasting plane in the room is the floor laid with Top Cer tiles.
