In this article, I want to talk about three useful homemade products for giving, which can be made from the remains of plastic pipes. To create, you do not need professional tools and special skills.
1. Multilevel beds
Large-diameter plastic pipes can be used to make multi-level beds for growing flowers and cultivated plants. There are two main types of landing. The first involves the use of pipes as pots, and in the second case, crops are planted in a gutter filled to the brim with substrate.
The advantages of multi-level beds are space savings, better airflow and better illumination. An important feature is the absence of standing water. Even after heavy lingering rains, moisture quickly leaves through the drainage holes.
Sewer pipes are best used to create beds. They are strong enough and have the right diameter. So that the soil from the garden is not washed out with water, standard plugs are installed at the edges.
2. Portable country shower
From a few meters of plastic pipe, you can make a simple, but at the same time functional country shower. The structure is assembled in less than a couple of hours and connected to a garden hose. A horizontal bar with many holes plays the role of a watering can. The shower supports are also made from a pipe, therefore they conduct water and are part of a sealed circuit.
The shower can be upgraded to make it easier to wash. To do this, you need to install a watering can. In our case, it will be a square contour with holes cut into a horizontal pipe. Such a watering can will allow you to focus the water jets in one place, which is so much lacking in the first design option.
In fact, this simple homemade product is able to completely replace the purchased compact shower. The main disadvantage is the lack of a tank for heating water. This problem can be partially solved by using a long hose laid out in a dark, sunny place and painting light plastic pipes black. The warm water will not go long, but this is quite enough to rinse off after tiring work in the garden.
3. Plastic pipe seeder
From a couple of meters of plastic pipe, two tees, one corner and a tin can, you can make a seeder that will preserve the health of any gardener. When using the tool, you do not have to bend over and measure the distance between the holes. It is enough just to set the device in the desired place, apply light pressure and place the seed in the tube. Done.
At one time we will sow and create a hole for the new seed. This seeder can be adapted to almost any garden crop. The sowing quality increases, and the process itself is accelerated several times.
