Very unusual pots can be made from cement or plaster mortar to decorate the local area and recreation area. Here it is worth showing a real flight of imagination. Shapes and sizes are limited only by your imagination. These can be strict products of regular shapes, outlandish asymmetric figures or rough, untreated containers.

Despite the freedom of imagination, working with solutions is not very easy. You will have to work hard to get the desired result. However, having overcome all the difficulties of acquaintance with the materials, you will receive a useful skill that is useful not only for decorating a garden.

It should be noted right away that gypsum products cannot be outdoors for a long time. If the planter is installed outdoors, it is better to make it from cement mortar.

The pots can be made even from small pebbles collected from the nearest reservoir. This will require a lot of diligence, but the result will be worth the effort. There are two main types of such products.

  • The first assumes the presence of a wire frame with two walls, which resembles a bucket in shape. You can weave such a base around a workpiece of a suitable size. As soon as the frame is ready, the empty space is filled with pebbles.
  • The second involves a full-fledged masonry of small stones, in which transparent or gray silicone is used instead of a solution. The cache-pot turns out to be fragile, but it looks very impressive.

Such products are not intended to be suspended or regularly moved.

3. Planter of thin twigs

From a low jar, you can make an unusual planter, which will always remind you of the past summer. To do this, you need to prepare about a hundred small branches of the same height. It is advisable that the rods are even, since they will have to be adjusted to each other.

Sticks are glued to the jar with transparent silicone. You can buy one at any plumbing store. To make the pots look neat, it is advisable to check the angle of inclination of every tenth twig.

Planters made from low jars and glasses are only suitable for miniature potted plants. However, in this way, you can paste over a container of any shape and size.

Original hanging pots can be made from scraps of small logs. To do this, it is enough to drill out the core and make several drainage holes in the bottom. Loops must be screwed into the walls of the finished product. That's it, our planter is ready to use.

In order for the wood to retain its original properties as long as possible, it is advisable to soak it with a colorless solution from fungi and harmful insects.

By the same principle, you can make flower beds from old logs and decks that have been idle for years in the far corners of the site.

From an ordinary tin can and thick jute twine, you can make a neat planter for small potted plants. The shape and capacity will depend on the selected blank. The entire creation process will take no more than 20 minutes, and the planter can be used the very next day.

The glue must be applied to the jar just before the installation of each particular coil. Otherwise, it will have time to dry out and lose its properties.
