Hello, dear friend. To take care of the adjacent territory of the garden plot, I had a special braid, of a special shape. It was used in those places where it is impossible to mow with a trimmer, and you cannot get it with a Lithuanian.
My dacha is located near the water, there is a pier. The reservoir is warm and there is a lot of grass. The grass interferes with swimming and fishing without hooks.
Sometimes it was necessary to mow the algae in the water, an ordinary scythe. But at a depth higher than human height, you can't wave it. Therefore, I bought this unusual mower.
The mowing process with this special scythe is as follows: You throw it into the water on a rope and pull it. Due to its teeth, it collects grass on itself.
A large amount of grass falls on the scythe. Which must be constantly shaken off. And then dispose of.
Honestly, I'm tired of this alignment. I decided to modify this product with a grinder.
The manufacturer of this braid probably deliberately made the base of the teeth "blunt". Therefore, the grass was not mowed, but gathered on the scythe. So that the reservoir is not littered with mown grass.
I sharpened this area with a cutting disc:
Now, when throwing this product into the water kingdom, I begin to draw the scythe in jerks. Most of the grass does not sit on the scythe, but the cut floats. And carried away by a tailwind or current.
Now I do not suffer with the removal of grass, but simply engaged in cutting the adjacent territory of my dacha, from the ubiquitous grass. It was only required to modify the cunning braid with a grinder.
