Today I am with another handicraft for a garden and a summer residence. I understand that now winter and summer crafts are not entirely appropriate, but many readers asked for more garden crafts, summer ones, which give warmth and joy of warm days.
We will make a pots-flower from the simplest and most affordable materials that can be bought at any hardware store and not at all expensive.
Necessary materials:
· Cement of the M 400 brand;
· Pelvis;
· A piece of tulle;
· Empty bucket;
· Pins;
· Rubber gloves;
· Any braid;
· Paints in spray cans.
As you can see, there are not many materials and they are all inexpensive. We buy paint for 100 rubles per can. Cement will take a couple of kilograms, which is about 10 rubles.
It is best to make such a planter in warm, dry weather, then it will dry quickly and everything will turn out well.
Step 1.
A couple of kilograms of cement was poured into the basin, water was added and mixed. The resulting solution is like liquid sour cream.
Remember to wear rubber gloves, or the cement will eat away at your skin.
Step 2.
We take tulle and soak it well in a cement mixture. The size of the tulle is arbitrary, that is, at your discretion.
Step 3.
We hang the bucket upside down on some kind of stand. We put tulle on the bucket and straighten it.
Step 4.
Using pins we form, as it were, a flower. We tie the pots with braid.
Leave to dry for 24 hours.
Step 5.
After a day, bend the edges outward, very carefully, the pots are still not strong enough.
Step 6.
We paint the pots 2-3 times from the can, first in one color, then a little differently.
The planter is ready!
We do not regret the paint, we apply a thick layer. Thus, the paint will protect the planter from rain. If the paint is not enough, then the pots can get wet from the rain and fall apart.
This planter served us for about 3 years. Once a year we renewed the paint a little. Even in winter it remained in the garden. But, the winters were little snow and nothing terrible happened. And then a lot of snow fell and the pots fell apart from its weight. So it is better to clean under a canopy for the winter.
