How to make an analogue of "Baikal EM" with your own hands?

To get homemade "Baikal" you can use one of the following recipes:
- In water (10 l), dissolve fermented mold-free jam (1/2 l) and compressed yeast (300 g). The resulting liquid substance is thoroughly mixed and left warm for 1 week. The fermented concentrate must be diluted with water before use (ratio - 250 ml per 10 l).
- Rice groats (1 cup) are thoroughly washed in water (1 l). The resulting cloudy liquid (rice water) is poured into a jar and left warm for 7-10 days. After it has acidified, milk (10 l) is poured into it. Mix thoroughly and leave for another 1 week. The finished whey is separated from the curdled mass, a little granulated sugar is added (1 tbsp. l.).
- The grass weighed out in the garden (7 buckets) is finely cut and poured into a 200 liter barrel. Ash (1/2 bucket), compost or humus (2 buckets) are added there. Pour water to the top of the barrel. Insist for 14 days, mixing the contents at intervals of 1 time in 2 days. The resulting concentrate is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10 before use. When watering vegetable crops (tomatoes, cabbage, cucumbers, peppers), the consumption rate is observed - 1-1.5 liters per 1 adult plant.
- Granulated sugar (5 tbsp.) Is dissolved in water (3 l). l.) and a little dry yeast (1 pinch). Leave warm for 3 days to get the sourdough. It is added to a 200 liter barrel to manure (1/2 bucket), ash (1/2 bucket), garden soil (1/2 bucket), yogurt or kefir (1 liter), straw dust (1 bucket). The contents of the container are mixed. Water is poured into the barrel to the brim. Insist for 1 week. The resulting concentrate is dissolved in water before use, keeping a ratio of 1:10.
Useful properties of EM drugs
Using "Baikal EM" and similar preparations, the gardener can get the following beneficial effects:
- Improve the structure of the garden soil. Increase the rate of humus content in it.
- Strengthen the root system of cultivated plants, and therefore improve the supply of nutrients to the green organism.
- To increase the immunity of grown vegetable crops to diseases such as powdery mildew, late blight and other fungal infections.
- Effectively resist some soil pests.
