"So that I live like this": renovation of a 35 m² holiday apartment in Sochi with a functional space

Designer Tatyana Kirichenko designed a one-room apartment with an area of ​​35 for a couple. The apartment is located in a new building in Sochi, it was purchased as a vacation property. The customers wanted to get open free space, but at the same time preserve all functional areas.

The layout was created practically from scratch. They tried to make the apartment comfortable for four people so that the sons of customers could freely visit there. The room and the kitchen were separated by a wall. Sliding doors at the corner of the hallway helped make the space more open and flexible. A separate dressing room was provided for storage.

Living room

Two types of wallpaper were used in the living room. Some serve as a background, with the help of others we have selected one of the walls, making it an accent.

Kitchen

The set, made to order according to the designer's sketches, was supplemented with a sideboard. He hid the gas equipment, and also provided storage space for large household appliances.

The hallway was zoned at floor level. It was laid with porcelain stoneware with imitation of aged boards. The connecting element is the blue door to the bathroom.

A storage system was organized in a niche above the installations. A washing machine has successfully entered under the countertop in the sink area.
