Storage of small items

- Shelves or boards with holes. They create special slots in which you can store tools. The advantage of this method is that all tools are visible and easy to find. In addition, during the manufacturing process, you can decorate such shelves at your discretion.
- Shelf with a magnet that fits over the entire surface. Fix the magnetic part with epoxy glue for better adhesion. This storage method is convenient for large and heavy tools, as well as any metal products.
- Jar installed on the lid: place the transparent container with a thread on the lid and "screw" it on. This method is perfect for storing small items: nuts, screws, nails. Opt for clear jars so that you can easily find the small details inside.
- Stationery clips can be used to store saws, ropes, and some lightweight tools. Attach the clamps to the wall, then fix the necessary tools with them. Choose larger clamps that can hold heavy objects, the smaller ones will only work with light parts.
- Create a niche for storing adhesive tapes. A knife for cutting the tape is built into it, as well as a stopper that will ensure the location of the reel.
Storage of large instruments
- Create ceiling rails using two planks or beams that you want to attach to the ceiling at a specific distance. Boxes or boxes can be placed on them. A removable brake is installed on the opposite side to hold them in place. This storage method helps to save space in the room and keep the tools practically under the ceiling.
- Creation of fasteners using wires, pipes, hoses. To do this, you need to make hinges from the indicated materials and attach them to the wall. This method is convenient for hinging large garden tools: hoes, shovels, rakes.
- Attaching two steel nets, old hangers or grill grates to the ceiling or walls. This method is suitable for storing long and thin items that are inserted into the sinuses of the grates.
- For storing large, heavy items, shelves with grooves are suitable, which are sawn in the middle of the board. Try to choose thicker boards, at least 2.5 centimeters, so that they can withstand heavy objects.
- Large items, ladders and tools will be conveniently stored on hinged shelves. This is a kind of hybrid of board holders and rails. This method will free up some of the space in the room.
- One of the most common options would be self-created shelving. They can be fixed to floor frames or walls. For ease of use, it is recommended to put stoppers and niches for storing boxes. This way they will not move from their assigned places.
