On the Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone, after a year of use, all the memory for storing data has gone somewhere. The phone constantly reports the lack of memory.
The content of the custom section is only 10.7 GB (photos 7.7 GB, pictures 0.5 GB, saved APK 0.72 GB, Android folder 0.98 GB, everything else 0.83 GB).
10.7 GB is occupied, 0.8 GB is free, and the memory capacity of this smartphone is 64 GB, so where did the remaining 52.5 GB go?
Of course, resetting to factory settings would be a radical way to clear the memory, but I really, really would not like to do this.
It seems to me that there must be some way of cleaning: either delete some specific files, or run an application that can clean the system area, but, alas, I did not find such.
What about the memory on your Android smartphone? Is it also constantly decreasing, or is it Xiaomi who tried so hard?
If you know a way to clean it up (the system partition, not the user partition), please share. Just in case, I will write that Telegram and Whatsapp are not on this smartphone and never have been.
