Motorcycles for the Soviet layman were, perhaps, less popular, but they were still in demand. However, in the production environment of this type of transport, there was a place for developments that ultimately did not go into series. Moreover, if some were really not the most successful, then some could make real competition to the models already existing on the market. To your attention, there are "five" motorcycle concepts from the USSR, which never got a ticket to life.

To your attention, there are "five" motorcycle concepts from the USSR, which never got a ticket to life.

In fairness, it should be clarified that this model was transferred to the material plane after the collapse of the USSR in 1994, when the IZH-P6 engine was created. However, in fact, it is the latest modification of the famous Soviet motorcycle IZH Planet 5. As a result, a trial series in the amount of 28 copies was released, but the matter did not go further. The main reason is considered to be the wrong time: after all, in the nineties, many industries could not even provide their own existence, let alone create something new.

2. Dnipro "Dynamite-Enduro"

The history of this motorcycle began during the period of perestroika, and in the then eighties was considered quite advanced. Dnieper "Dynamite-Enduro" was planned as a modernization of the classic Dnieper and the first tourist "Enduro" in the USSR. The design of the model combines existing technologies and innovations, which are considered modern even today. But this did not help either: despite the successful tests, the deteriorating economic situation did not allow the motorcycle to be put into production.

3. Izh-Leader

Another Soviet motorcycle that could become truly revolutionary. Izh-Leader was primarily distinguished by the appearance of a rotary engine in its design. In addition, he still had many advantages: decent power, good resource, low weight, as well as the overall compactness of the model. However, for all its advantages, it was never launched into mass production: according to Novate.ru, a small experimental series was delivered to the Soviet police, but only there it remained.

4. IZH "Trial"

There is very little information left about this motorcycle model. However, even from the name it is clear that it was designed specifically for participation in trial competitions, which were quite popular at that time. From the information that has been preserved, it is clear that with its small dimensions and weight, the IZH "Trial" had a very good chassis performance. However, the rebellious eighties did not give this concept the opportunity to get a start in life, and a prototype of this motorcycle has somehow survived to this day.

According to the information that has come down to our days about this motorcycle, it was not going to be put into serial production: so, in total, about twenty units were produced exclusively for participation in road circuit races with strollers. Therefore, IMZ M63S "Strela-1" was distinguished by high aerodynamic characteristics, as well as speed - the maximum it could develop up to 150 km / h. Today they can only be seen in several museum exhibitions.
